Christine Dawn Lightburn
Christine Dawn Lightburn passed away peacefully at the Joseph Creek Care Village on November 19th, 2020, with her son Cody and his partner, Charissa by her side. Christine was born on April 22nd, 1968 in Fernie B.C. Christine grew up on her family farm in Jaffray. She attended school in Jaffray and graduated from Fernie Secondary in June 1986. Growing up on the farm, Chris made a pet out of all the animals and seeing them go was a great loss for her. Christine is survived by her son, Cody (Charissa), dad and mom (Rick and Nina), sister Louanne (Bill), sister Kelly (Mike), brother Wade (Diane) and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Christine was pre-deceased by her paternal and maternal grandparents. Christine’s positive out-look on life was known by all who knew her. An outdoor celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Services.
