OBITUARY – Elizabeth Kendrick Horton – Lexington – A Celebration of Life service for Elizabeth Kendrick Horton, 52, of Lexington, will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Lakeside Gazebo at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Interment in Woodridge Memorial Park will follow the service. Elizabeth Horton passed away November 26, 2020. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of James Arthur, Kendrick Sr., and Peggy Dinkins Kendrick. Elizabeth was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and girlfriend who enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest. Elizabeth loved animals, and had a dog, Iris, who was her special love. She is now at home in Heaven with her beloved daughter, Peggy. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. Elizabeth is survived by her parents; her loving boyfriend of 12 years, Russell Knotts; son, Daniel Horton of Gaston; grandchildren, Layla and Kendal Horton; sister, Stephanie Kendrick of North Platte, Nebraska; brother, James Kendrick, Jr., of Gaston. Elizabeth is also survived by the father of her children, R.D. Horton of Gaston, and loving extended family. Elizabeth was predeceased by her daughter, Peggy Elizabeth Horton. The family would like to thank the staff of the 3rd floor ICU at Lexington Medical Center for their loving and attentive care of Elizabeth.
