DeWayne R. “Bud” Glasure, 81 EAST LIVERPOOL - DeWayne R. “Bud” Glasure, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday morning, November 27, 2020 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was 81. Born in East Liverpool, April 10, 1939, he was a son of the late J. Arthur and Eleanor Copestick Glasure. A lifetime area resident, he worked at the former Crucible Steel Company and later J & L Steel until retiring in 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife Rose Marie Hampson Glasure. The couple married June 1, 1959. He was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Bryce Lamp, a son-in-law, Len Jordan, and two brothers, Clarence “Pete” Glasure and James “Red” Glasure. He is survived by two daughters, Diana Jordan of Virginia, and Jenny Lamp and her husband, Albert “Craig”, of East Liverpool, along with five grandchildren: Joseph Lamp and his wife, Lora, Rebecca Lockhart, Donald Lamp, Tanya Lockhart and Michelle Lamp, and six great-grandchildren: Bobbi Lockhart, DeWayne Hughes, Maygn Francis, Morgan Francis, Austin Harvey and Kaylyn Lamp. A brother survives as well, Arthur “Rusty” Glasure and his wife, Loretta, of Calcutta. A private family service will be conducted at a later date. The Dawson Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
