Vickie Jo Hand, 63, of Aspen Street Amarillo, Texas passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Baptist Saint Anthony Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. Vickie was born on June 28, 1957, in Carlsbad, New Mexico to Ralph and Ruby Hand.

Private services were held, and interment was at Carlsbad Cemetery Carlsbad, NM. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Vickie was a very kind and sweet person. She firmly believed that you should never spank babies or children, but rather just love them. Vickie enjoyed coloring, working puzzles, and being with her family. She always loved to be out and about, and spending time with those she loved. Vickie will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Vickie was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Hand; mother, Ruby Hand; brother, Otto Gail Hand; sister, Bette Chenault; sister-in-law, Diane Hand; niece, Michele Devine Hand; and nephew, Brian Devine

Vickie is survived by her sister, Rhonda Allbright and husband, Barry of Amarillo, TX; brother, Thomas Hand and wife, Pat of Amarillo, TX; brother, Jerry Hand of Carlsbad, NM; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
