Graveside services for Mr. Don Hoover, age 79 of Allons, will be conducted 2 pm Sunday, November 29th, from the Overton County Memorial Gardens.  Bro. Aaron Dillon will officiate.  The family will welcome friends at the graveside.

Don passed from this life on Friday, November 27, 2020, from Bethesda Healthcare in Cookeville.  He was born in Overton County on August 10, 1941, to the late Tom and Parr King Hoover.  Don loved his wife and family and spent much time working in his yard.  He enjoyed travelling, eating out, going to church, and having company.

Mr. Hoover leaves behind his loving wife Charlotte Hoover of Allons; daughter Regina Chilton and husband Jimmy of Alpine; step grandchildren Stormy and Dylan Chilton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hoover was preceded in death by his brothers Herb Hoover, Hobe Hoover, and Claudell Hoover; and sisters Hattie "Toots" Smith and Lela Paul.

Pallbearers to serve are Freddie Paul, Mike Hoover, Mickey Ledbetter, Charlie Sells, Jeff Paul and Kevin Ruble.  Honorary pallbearers are Robert Paul and Kelly Paul.
