<p>Marie Celeste Guerrini, 95, formerly of Lewistown, passed away of COVID-19 on Friday, November 27, at Valley View Retirement Community.</p> <p>She was born on March 3, 1925, in Burnham, a daughter of the late Anthony and Augustina Materia Battista.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; husband, Frank J. Guerrini, and brothers Albert, Anthony, Frank, Louis and Michael Battista.</p> <p>She is survived by: children, Delmer S. Guerrini and wife, Roseann, of Lewistown, Debra M. Guerrini, of Hollywood, FL and Pittsburgh, PA, Frank J. Guerrini, Jr. and wife, Sue, of York, PA, Sylvester Joseph Guerrini, of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Steven A. Guerrini, of New York, NY, Christine M. Stackhouse and husband, Nicholas, of Bryn Mawr, PA; Karin Guerrini, of Harrisburg, Michael Guerrini and wife, Kristen, of York, Sherri Trone, of Poolesville, MD; and seven great-grandchildren.</p> <p>Marie was a 1943 graduate of Burnham High School. She worked as a part-time Bookkeeper/Secretary in her husband’s business, Frank Guerrini Vending Machines, Inc., and retired at age 70. She was a Roman Catholic and member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.</p> <p>She was an outstanding homemaker who loved to cook and bake for her family, especially during the holidays and special occasions. In the past, she was part of a quilting group at Sacred Heart Church, making baby blankets and other items for those in need.</p> <p>Private graveside services will be held for the family at Juniata Memorial Cemetery. </p> <p>Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church or Valley View Retirement Community.</p>Obituary
