Kay Neman

Kay Louis Neman passed away peacefully Friday, November 27, 2020 leaving behind a great legacy. He is survived by his children Larry (Ellen), Laura, Julaine (Rick), Dave (Kary) and Dan (Kelly). Loving grandfather to Shawn Nicole (Chad), Larry (Crystal), Joe (Adan), Nicholas (Elizabeth), Dana, Zac, Austin and Tony. He was also blessed to have 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Kay is survived by Emily Wellhausen his loving partner and best friend of 28 years and her children Steve (Tania) and Dawn. Kay will be greeted in Heaven by his parents Louis and Beverly Along with his brother Bob. He is survived by his sisters Joan O’Malley and Sandy Brown. Kay was born November 10, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI. He had a very creative mind which lead him to be a Draftsman for 40 years. Kay designed his own home as well as designing the New Berlin Lions Club corn roast stand at State Fair Park. He loved to camp and enjoy the outdoors at Bogus Bluff (family property) where he shared many memories with extended family and friends. He had a love for bowling and golfing which he passed on to his boys and grandchildren. Emily and Kay enjoyed traveling together, with family and friends until he no longer could. For the past 2 ½ years Kay had been residing at Brookdale Senior Living due to Alzheimer’s. The family is very thankful for the attention and special care he received. A special thank you to Rev. George Ontko for visiting Kay weekly to offer him spiritual support. Visitation will be held Friday, December 11 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM performed by Rev. George Ontko. Burial is Monday, December 14 at 10:30 AM at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made to The Alzheimer’s Association in memory of him.
