<p>&nbsp; &nbsp;Gwendolyn &quot;Gwen&quot; Coey, 69, of New London, OH passed away unexpectedly late Wednesday morning, November 25, 2020, at her home.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;Born on February 3, 1951, in New London, OH the daughter of Blaine and Magalene (Hall) Hall.&nbsp; She was a 1969 graduate of New London High School.&nbsp; She was a hairdresser, and had owned and operated &quot;the Mane Place&quot; in New London for several years, before retiring.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;Gwen enjoyed visiting the local library, reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.&nbsp; She also loved researching genealogy and crafts, including quilting and knitting.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;She is survived by two daughters, Courtney (Gregory McDowell) Born of Wakeman and Kelly (Barron) Sopchak of Willamsburg, VA; two grandchildren, Ryleigh Born and Alexander Sopchak; two sisters, Carol Hunter and Amy (Robert) Howard; and two brothers, Danny (Donna) Kidd and Kim Hall; three sister-in-laws, Joanne Coey, Jeanne Coey and Karen (Randy) Ruggles; and nieces and nephews<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;Gwen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 49 years, Garry E. Coey on May 29, 2018; two sisters, Linda Crabbs and Vivian Perkins; and a brother-in-law, Ted Coey.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;It was her wishes to be cremated.&nbsp;&nbsp;Services will be held at a later date with burial in the&nbsp;Grove Street Cemetery, New London, OH.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the New London Public Library, 67 S. Main Street, New London, OH 44851.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp;Arrangements are entrusted to the David F.    Gwendolyn "Gwen" Coey, 69, of New London, OH passed away unexpectedly late Wednesday morning, November 25, 2020, at her home.
   Born on February 3, 1951, in New London, OH the daughter of Blaine and Magalene (Hall) Hall.  She was a 1969 graduate of New London High School.  She was a hairdresser, and had owned and operated "the Mane Place" in New London for several years, before retiring.
