Jessie Burton Ridge
<p> Jessie Burton Ridge, 88, resident of The GrayBrier Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Tarheel Dr., Archdale, died November 27th at the Hospice Home in Asheboro.</p> <p> Mrs. Ridge was born July 29, 1932 in Guilford County, a daughter to Clay and Bessie King Burton. She was a graduate of High Point Central High School. Mrs. Ridge was a homemaker and for many years a faithful member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. In 1951, she married Clarence M. (Chuck) Ridge who preceded her in death in 2010. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Bob Burton; sister, Dot Rumley; grandchildren, Emily Ridge and Marshall Morgan; and son-in-law, Charles (Charlie) Morgan.</p> <p> Surviving are daughters, Karen R. Hanas of Knoxville, TN and Pamela R. Morgan of Trinity; son, Clarence M. (Click) Ridge, Jr. and wife, Patsy, of Kernersville; grandchildren, Kent C. Ridge; Gabriel Hanas; Tony Morgan and wife, Megan; Rachel M. Harris and husband, Nathan; and Mary Chambers and husband, Travis; great grandson, Dawson Harris & great granddaughter, Ellie Morgan; sister, Clara Leach and husband, J.B. of Thomasville.</p> <p> A private service will be held at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service with burial at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.</p> <p> Wright Funerals-Cremations is in charge of arrangements.</p> <p> </p>Obituary
