Harley Dean Hubbard

Harley Dean Hubbard, 81, of Monrovia, passed away November 27, 2020 at Plainfield Healthcare Center. He was born April 24, 1939, in Rogers, Arkansas, to the late Lowell and Mary (Lane) Hubbard. Harley married the love of his life, Glenda Dotson, on September 13, 1958. Harley worked 27 years at National Tea Company and 22 years as owner operator of Mike Sell’s Distributor Franchise. He was a member of Baptist Tabernacle of Martinsville. Harley took pride in volunteering with the RU Ministries through the church. He enjoyed reading and doing crosswords. Harley is going to be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Debi Hubbard; and siblings, Ronald Hubbard and Joyce Winsted. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Glenda Hubbard; sons, Barry (Theresa) Hubbard and Richard “Richie” Hubbard; grandchildren, Daniel (Melissa) Hubbard, Jeremiah (Samantha) Hubbard, Sarah (Mike) Richardson, and Zachariah (Caliegh) Hubbard; and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Martinsville Baptist Tabernacle; service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Hall, Indiana. All guests attending visitation and/or services will be required to wear a mask at all times in an effort to promote a safe environment.
