Bethel Howard McNeely

Bethel Howard McNeely, 98 of Crooked Creek WV, went to his heavenly home, November 26, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 1, 1922 at Logan, WV. The son of the late Manny L. McNeely and Mary E. McNeely. He was a 1940 graduate of Logan High School. He was a lifelong member of the Crooked Creek Church of Christ. He retired from CSX railroad after 44 years of service. He was a Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Pamela Mae McNeely, and his son, Mark L. McNeely and great granddaughter, Joella Ann McNeely. He is survived by his children, Joel ( Regina) McNeely of Chapmanville,WV, Dan (Kathy) McNeely of Barboursville, WV, Teresa McNeely of Crooked Creek, WV, Lynne ( Tracy) Butcher of Chapmanville,WV Aaron McNeely of Peach Creek, WV, Eileen ( Kenney)Nutter of Kernersville, NC, Ben (Debbie) McNeely of Huber Heights, OH. He has 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and one nephew, David O’Kelly of Charleston, WV. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday November 29, 2020 at the Crooked Creek Church of Christ. With Pastor Ralph Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV. Pall Bearers will be Joel McNeely, Dan McNeely, Aaron McNeely, Ben McNeely, Jonathan McNeely and Roger Bryant.
