Edythe Irene Gilbert, 94, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away November 26, 2020. She was born September 24, 1926, in Hot Springs to Edward and Edythe Cecil (Paugh) West. Irene was a longtime estate sale appraiser and dealer of antiques. She also loved to write poetry and was published numerous times. Irene was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, George Jackson Cales; husband, Don Gilbert; and son, Tim Cales. Survivors include son, Monte Cales (Carol) of Texas; daughter, Jeanine Harper (Mike) of Kansas; brother, Kent Keahey (Linda) of Hot Springs; and four grandchildren.
