Maxine Myers Gibson

<p>Mrs. Maxine Gilmer Myers Gibson, 83, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. She was born on August 15, 1937 in Peterstown, West Virginia to the late Walter Gilmer and Nannie Fuller Gilmer. She worked many years at North State Communications as an operator and supervisor. She loved reading the bible, cooking for her family, and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. &nbsp;</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Myers Rowe; first husband, Byrd Myers; two son-in-law&rsquo;s, Paul Joines and Joseph Rowe; granddaughter, Ashley Joines; second husband, Ernest Gibson; sister, Mary Emmert; and three brothers, Walter, Sidney, and Henry Gilmer.</p> <p>Surviving are her two daughters, Sharon Joines and Rita Allen, both of Thomasville; one son, Ricky Myers and wife Amy of Trinity; nine grandchildren; and twelve&nbsp;great-grandchildren.</p> <p>A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 12:00 PM at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point with her son, Ricky Myers officiating. Mrs. Gibson will lie in state at the JC Green &amp; Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Monday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM for anyone to pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com</p>

Mrs. Maxine Gilmer Myers Gibson, 83, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
