David M. Douglas, 54, of Raynham, formerly of West Bridgewater, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home.
Born in Stoughton, he was the son of Ralph I. Douglas and the late Cheryl (White) Douglas, and the father of Matthew D. Douglas , Kayla Coleman, Kelsey Coleman, and the late Richard Coleman.
He worked as a self-employed painter and handyman for many years. David was an avid New England Patriots fan, enjoyed fishing, playing pool, bowling, and camping, especially at the Bourne Scenic Campground.
In addition to his father and children, he leaves behind a sister, Carole Douglas Reis, a grandson, Carter Black, his godparents Denise and Daniel Vieira, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by Joanne (Cullen) Douglas and Michael Douglas.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, in the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton, MA (at Saint Mary’s Square).
Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10:00 am, in Pine Hill Cemetery, 483 North Main Street (rt. 28) West Bridgewater, MA.
During all services, facial coverings and social distancing will be required.
