Carol Louise Meyer, 73, of Farmington passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at her residence with family by her side. She was born on December 17, 1946 in Grant Town, WV daughter of the late Francis Pethtel, Sr and Evelyn Enock Pethtel.

Carol graduated from Monongah High School and was a business owner for over thirty-one years making hand painted gifts. She loved painting for other people and took great pride in her work. In addition to painting and crafts, Carol also loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them as often as she could.

Carol is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Cliff Meyer; two children, Frankie Vargo of Washington, DC and Gretchen Meyer Thorton and Chris of Albany, NY; siblings, Alice Nice and Sam of Annapolis, MD, Charles Pethtel and Linda of Farmington, and Francis Pethtel Jr and Diane of Worthington; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by one son, Stuart Grant Vargo and one sister, Jannette Pethtel.
