Jack Bennie Fitzpatrick, 82, Forsyth, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 of an apparent heart attack.
He was born March 29, 1938 in Nixa, Missouri, the son of the late Carl H. and Mayme (Bolin) Fitzpatrick. He was united in marriage July 2, 1957 in Nixa to Peggy Lou Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Laila Thomas and a brother, J.D. Fitzpatrick.
Jack was a route salesman before his retirement for several companies including Holsum Bread, Foremost Dairy and Hiland Dairy. He was a kind a generous person and was always helping his family and friends. He had many extended “Grandkids” and was known as “Poppy” to many.
He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Peggy; a son, Arthur Fitzpatrick and his wife Sheila; two daughters, Deborah Peterson and her husband Charlie, and Cammy Sue Plumb and husband Nelson; a granddaughter, Christal Sivils and her husband Jason; a brother, Roger Fitzpatrick and his wife Beulah; several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1 – 2:00 p.m, Monday, November 30, 2020 with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. at J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville. Burial will follow at Springhill Cemetery, south of Rogersville.
