<p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">Mrs. Annie Corbitt, age 97, of Newville, Alabama passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">Visitation will be Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 10 AM to 12 PM at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Newville, Alabama.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 12 PM at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Newville, Alabama.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">Annie Pearl Carlton Corbitt was born April 15, 1923 to the late Mr. Johnny Carlton and Mrs. Minnie Lee Jackson Corbitt, in Henry County, Alabama. She became a member of First Baptist Church, early in life, where she attended regularly until her health failed her.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">On November 26, 2020, she was called to rest. She was preceded in death by her husband: Moses Corbitt; sisters: Delphine Danzey, Ruthie Danzey and Gussie Blocker; one daughter: Annie Lee Ford; and one son: Billy Corbitt.</span></span></em></strong></p> <p><strong><em><span style="font-size:22px;"><span style="font-family:comic sans ms,arial;">She leaves to cherish and celebrate her memories, 14 children: L.C. (Carolyn) Corbitt of Midland City, Alabama, Lillie Mae Corbitt of Dothan, Alabama, Eunice Kirkland of Jacksonville, Florida, Bessie Mose (Rosie) Corbitt of Newville, Alabama, Earnestine Kirkland and Minnie Lee Knight both of Dothan, Alabama, Irene Baxter of Midland City, Alabama, Jerleen King, Deborah (Leonard) Ward, Arrie Dell Rogers and Carolyn Reynolds all of Dothan, Alabama, Jackie (Dexter) Bryant of Newville, Alabama, Pearleen Corbitt of Kinsey, Alabama and Lazarus Corbitt of Newville, Alabama. She also leaves behind two brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, 47 grandchildren, 92 great grandchildren, 49 great great grandchildren, 2 great great great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.</span></span></em></strong></p>Obituary
