Walker Barnabus Vaught Obituary

Rev. Walker B. (WB) Vaught departed his life at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center on Friday, November 27, 2020. He will be highly, missed by all his family and friends. He was born on March 8, 1951, the son of the late Rev. Walter Bamabus Vaught and the late Beattice Elizabeth Sarah Livingston Vaught.

Walker (WB) was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Walter B. Vaught and his mother, Beatrice (Bea) Vaught. Two brother, William Lee Vaught, James 0. Chestnut, two sisters, Mabel J. Hemingway and Mary L. Hickman.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Marilyn (Dale) Vaught, his three children, Calvin (Rebecca) Vaught of Texas, Devine Vaught of Texas and his daughter Elizabeth (Libby) Alston of Myrtle Beach, SC. 13 grandchildren, His brother, Caleb J. Vaught of Charleston, SC, three sisters Elizabeth Hemingway of Jersey City, NJ, Lena Barker and Sherrie Delong of Longs, SC, also two adopted brothers Roy Chestnut of Myrtle Beach, SC and Ray Chestnut of Longs, SC. One adopted sister Wendy (Dwayne) Todd of Brooksville, SCA special Counselor and friend, Rev. Wallace Evans of North Myrtle Beach, SC. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

 

 

Walker Barnabus Vaught of Myrtle Beach passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.  A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday. December 3rd. 2020 at Pine Island Community Cemetery.  Ocean View Funeral Home, Myrtle Beach Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
