On November 24, at 5:15 PM Bernice Williams released her hold on this earthly life and went to be with God, whose strength sustained through her life. Bernice was born December 10, 1921 in Ethelsville, Alabama to Amie Brown Singleton and William Singleton. She was the oldest daughter of their nine children and of William’s 19 children. She married the late John Ed Williams in May of 1942. She leaves behind two daughters Dianna Jackson(Collins), and Loretta Young. She also leaves four grand children Simone Jackson, Lauren Jackson, Rathi Young and Bradley Young. She had two great grand children Michael and Santana Young. Her eleven remaining siblings also mourn her passing.
