Bernadine Ann Hunt passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at her home in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 77. She was born the daughter of August and Louise (Clark) Erker on Sunday, January 17, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas. Bernadine and Larry Hunt were united in marriage on May 23, 1964 in Wellington, Kansas and celebrated 56 years of marriage before his passing earlier this year. She and Larry loved spending time together with dancing being a favorite activity. Later in life, Bernadine enjoyed traveling and her favorite destination was Biloxi, Mississippi. She was a talented seamstress that made clothes or anything else that was needed. Bernadine was longtime member of the St. Anthony - St. Rose Catholic Church in Wellington. Many will remember her from her 20+ year career as a Clerk at the Sumner County Courthouse. Survivors include her son, Gregory Hunt (Rachel) of Wichita, Kansas; son, Russell Hunt (Lynn) of Grove Spring, Missouri; daughter, Amy Hunt of Wichita, Kansas; granddaughter, Skylar Foster; sister, Theresa Corle (Charles); sister, Joann Downum and brother, Ed Erker. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A memorial service for Bernadine will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 4, 2020 in the chapel of Cornejo Funeral Home + Crematory, Wellington, Kansas. If attending, face masks will be requested.
