John Allen Fulk

John Allen Fulk of Vermillion S.D. passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 26, 2020. John was born to Roy and Georgia Fulk on March 14, 1940 in Oakley, IL. John attended school in Alton, IL and it was there that he would meet his bride of almost 60 years, Barbara. He joined the Air Force in 1958 and served as a Cryptologist in England and Turkey during the Cold War. He was attached to the 1st Missile Division. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, gold mining, and diamond mining with his children. He worked for AT&T for over 26 years and was retired for over 30 years. He was proceeded in death by his wife Barbara. He is survived by his three sons and daughter in laws, Richard A. Fulk and his wife Alice, James W. Fulk and his wife Carrie, and Duane H. Fulk and his wife Janet. As well as 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was a wonderful friend and father and will be missed greatly by those who knew him. We ask that you pray for him and his family that they may have peace and joy through their loss. John has chosen to donate his body to the USD Medical School to further the education and knowledge of Health Sciences and Medical students, so a memorial will be held at a later date.
