Linda L. Smith Cincinnati, Ohio Linda L. (Hyslop), Smith, 77, of Cincinnati, Ohio died peacefully with her two daughters and a sister by her side on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at The Hospice of Cincinnati, Blue Ash. She was born January 18, 1943, one of five daughters, to Donald and Mary (Chaffee) Hyslop in Battle Creek, Michigan and graduated from Battle Creek Central High School Class of 1962. Linda worked at Joseph C Grant Store and Michigan National Bank and married John W. Smith in 1963. They lived in Lansing and Jackson, MI before moving to Cincinnati, OH with Bill Knapp’s Restaurants. There she worked for Fifth Third Bank and Dorman Products in Blue Ash and Snow Filtration of West Chester. After retiring she found pleasure in part time work at Collins & Co. Beauty Salon and Kid’s First. She is survived by her daughters Kimberly (Smith) Jones and Stacey Smith, and granddaughter Cheyenne Moore all of Cincinnati; sisters Susan (Bob) Fentress and Julie (Gary) Lantz of The Villages, FL and Becki (Mike) Monroe and Cathy (Jerry) Cook of Battle Creek, MI. She is remembered with much love by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by two special little girls Lily and Zoey Egner. Linda loved decorating her home and working in her yard and gardens. She also enjoyed doing Ceramics in her earlier years. She liked traveling, especially spending weeks at Hogback Lake in Indiana and trips to Florida to see her sisters. The Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville, Ohio each fall became a favorite tradition for many years for her, her sisters, her mother and other family members. Linda will be lovingly remembered by all and her passing felt by many. A Memorial will be held at a later date with family members.
