<p>Vernon &ldquo;Butch&rdquo; Rogers was born in Denver to Jack and Hazel Rogers on April 8, 1945. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1963.</p> <p>He proudly joined the Navy after High School.</p> <p>Vernon enjoyed taking his muscle cars to car shows and other events. Vernon took pride in his home and yard in Brighton and also enjoyed wintering at home in Arizona. He enjoyed nature, camping, traveling with friends and animals.</p> <p>Vernon is survived by several nieces and nephews and his brother Ron. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack &amp; Hazel Rogers and his sister Marjorie.</p> <p>Per Vern&rsquo;s wishes, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery.</p>

Obituary

Vernon “Butch” Rogers was born in Denver to Jack and Hazel Rogers on April 8, 1945. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1963.

He proudly joined the Navy after High School.

Vernon enjoyed taking his muscle cars to car shows and other events. Vernon took pride in his home and yard in Brighton and also enjoyed wintering at home in Arizona. He enjoyed nature, camping, traveling with friends and animals.

Vernon is survived by several nieces and nephews and his brother Ron. He is preceded in death by his parents Jack & Hazel Rogers and his sister Marjorie.

Per Vern’s wishes, there will be no services. He will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
