Kyle A. Waltman, 23, of Sinking Spring, passed away too soon on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in the care of Reading Hospital after a two year battle with leukemia. He was a son of Wayne Waltman Sr. and Sandra E. (Gates) Waltman, companion of Michael Partridge. Kyle graduated from Wyomissing High School, Class of 2015. Still exploring the world and figuring out to what he wanted to dedicate his life, Kyle held different positions, last working as a landscaper before becoming sick. With a huge heart and a boundless curiosity, Kyle lived spontaneously, once famously moving to South Dakota for love before returning to Reading. If he had more time, he would have studied mechanics as he loved cars, especially models used for drag racing. His memory will be cherished by his mother and father; his brother Wayne Waltman Jr. of Reading; his maternal grandparents Allen Gates of Reading and Sarah Adams (Chris) of West Lawn; his aunt and uncles: Lynn and Chett Garl and son Max Garl of Fleetwood; Allen L. Gates of Reading; his great aunts Linda Gates (Barry) of Reading and Nancy Weller and son Michael of Reading; his cousin Stephanie Irizarry (Jimmy) and son Jaden of West Reading; his cousins of the Bortz family. Kyle is also remembered by Candy and Carlos Reyes, of Sinking Spring, who loved Kyle like a son, and their children: Kyle’s dearest friend and brother, Jevin (Mariah) and daughter Lilliana of Sinking Spring; Jeriko of Sinking Spring; and Jerisa of Reading. Kyle was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Edward and Patricia Waltman and maternal great grandparents Frank and Florence Sadusky and cousin Derrick. Funeral services for Kyle will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020, at 10:00 AM at the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue West Reading with burial following at Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends are invited to share their memories of Kyle at the service. Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Masks are required for attendance.
