Ronald L. “Ron” Adams, age 79, of Carlisle, PA died on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Chapel Pointe at Carlisle. He was born in Carlisle, PA on July 23, 1941 to the late Lawrence and Betty C. Sipes Adams and was the widower of Jeanette E. Beam Adams. Ron was the former owner of Adams & Karper Contractors here in Carlisle. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle, and was a graduate of Carlisle High School Class of 1959. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local #431 and was a life member of the NRA and Carlisle Fish and Game. Ron was an avid hunter which was the joy of his life and his loving family meant the most to him. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, E. Jean Weibley Adams of Carlisle, his four sons, Steven R. (wife Lori), David W. (wife Carol), Jeffrey L. (wife Carrol) and Barry A. ( wife Lisa) Adams all of Carlisle. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gladys L. Rutledge and a grandson, Marcus P. Snyder. Private graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 10:00 AM in the Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. There will not be a viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Ron’s name may be made to the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors Project 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
