Myrna Dunphy, 77 years old, of Surprise AZ, joined her husband Joseph Dunphy in Heaven on November 21, 2020.  She was born on December 22, 1942 to the late Walter and Clara Tueffell in Elmhurst Illinois. Later in life she was then adopted by Hanna and Raised by Both and Hanna and Walter Tueffell. She attended Walter Lutheran High school, graduating class of 1959. On February 8, 1963, she married Joseph Dunphy in Illinois. Myrna worked as a Crossing Guard for the City of Rolling Meadows and a Manager for Paddock Publications “Daily Herald”.  She was a member of the Loyal order of Moose Lodge #660, Trinity Lutheran Rolling Meadows Church, and then moved to Surprise Arizona where she was an active member for 20 years in the Lord of Life Lutheran Church.

She was a wonderful woman who loved to give joy to others which is why it is not a surprise she was a Christ promoter, Disney enthusiast, and Christmas Jollier. She loved to craft and many received those gifts along with her scapbooking. Her and husband Joe frequently visited Disneyland and Disney World and annual passholders for many years. Her love for the visits to Disney theme parks would not be stopped by her declining health nor the covid virus as she frequently visited daily through others via youtube vidoes.

Myrna Dunphy is survived by her daughter and 3 sons: Daughter Cathy and husband Cecil Lamphier, Joseph Dunphy Jr, Gerald Dunphy and wife Terri Dunphy, and Brian Dunphy and wife Erica Dunphy, 2 Sisters: Lois Vostrejs and husband Len Vostrejs  and Marilyn Stuhl, 12 Grandchildren: Shawn Lamphier, Joey Dunphy, Michelle Dunphy, Katie Dunphy, Natalie Dunphy, Mike Repede, Chris Slepcevich, Ryan Kurtzman, Amber Crichton, Travis Dunphy, Vannessa Morrison, and Zachary Dunphy; and many other loving family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 4pm on Friday, November 27, 2020, At the Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 13724 W Meeker Blvd, Sun City West, AZ 85375 with Pastor Steve Officiating.
