Gary Edward Vaal, 77, of Beech Grove, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Beech Grove Meadows. He was born on Monday, November 30, 1942 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Edwin and Catherine (Miller) Vaal. Gary enlisted into the United States Marine Corp on April 14, 1960 from Indianapolis, Indiana and served 4 years before being honorably discharged on April 13, 1964 in Albany, Georgia. He is survived by his daughters, Georgia Troy, Stacey Ingels, Cathy Dickey, Maryann Weaver, Stephanie Northern; life partner, Claudia Basey; grandchildren, Daniel Troy, Deseree Troy, Ashley Priola, Michael Vaal, Christian Vaal, Heather Ford, Gabe Ford, Kali Ingles, Garret Wilson, Chase Wilson, Todd Vaal, Victoria Vaal; 15 great grandchildren, and sister Joyce Shockley. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Viney Hall and Janet McGraw. Visitation is Monday, November 30, 2020 from 10:00 am until noon at Indiana Funeral Care, 2433 East Main Street, Greenwood, Indiana. Memorial service will begin at noon.
