Margaret Ann Vickery Obituary

Margaret Ann (Daugherty) Vickery, age 87, of Evansville, IN, went home to be with the Lord at 3:50 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital – Evansville.

Margaret was born June 26, 1933, in Evansville, IN, to Harold C. and Canna (Barnett) Daugherty. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church. Margaret enjoyed reading, playing games, working in her word search books, and watching Hallmark Christmas movies and ME TV. In her younger years, she enjoyed attending Gospel quartet concerts.

 Margaret is survived by her daughter, Wanda Kendle (Gary); daughter-in-law, Beverly Seitz; grandchildren, Annalee Priest (Bruce), Tammy Myers (Tony), Jason Seitz, Darrell Seitz, Jr. (Jessica), Carrie Blalock (James), Jamie Marlin (William), Jennifer Peterman (Jason), and Ryan Michalowski (Deanna); many great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 47 years, Jack Lee Vickery, who passed away in 1999; daughter, Barbara Velsor; son, Darrell Seitz, Sr.; sister, Mary Schofield; granddaughter, Lisa; grandson, David Miller; and aunt, Mary.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 30, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel – A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Pastor David Cullison officiating. A Live Stream will be available beginning twenty minutes prior to the service time. Friends may visit from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2020, and from 9:00 a.m. until service time, Monday, November 30, 2020, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
