Reuben “Dan” Schrock, age 71, of Elkhart passed away at 12:24am on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital. Dan was born on December 1, 1948 to Edward and Mary Ann Schrock in Sturgis, MI.

Dan was a loving father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family watching movies, shooting pool, playing horse shoes. It was always a good time. Dan enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working for Newcomb Warehouse in Muscatine, Iowa as a truck driver.

Dan is survived by his children, Teresa “Terri” (James Burchett) Atwell of Arlington, TX., Neil Schrock, Ft. Worth, TX. And Timothy Schrock of Elkhart, IN; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Matt Young) Reaves, Ashlyn Atwell, Brandon Atwell, Jasmine Burchett, Sheldby Schrock, Trevor Schrock, Vanessa Schrock, Quillian (Jessica) Schrock and Cody (Ariana) Schrock; and his great-grandchildren, Noah Atwell, Karmyn Burchett, Kailee Schrock, Carter Schrock, Cody Schrock and Zara Schrock; his siblings, Emma Anway and Joe Schrock. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, John Schrock, Toby Schrock, Anna Rhodes, Edward Schrock and Moe Schrock and his daughter-in-law Nancy Schrock.

Friends may visit with family Sunday, November 29, 2020 from 2-4pm at Stemm-Lawson-Peterson Funeral Home, 1531 Cobblestone Blvd., Elkhart, IN 46514 where funeral services will be held at 4pm.
