Mrs. Betty Sue Bingham, a homemaker of Gordonsville, died at the age of 79 at 4:25 a.m. Tuesday morning November 24, 2020 at the St. Thomas Hospital West Hospital in Nashville. Mrs. Bingham was at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home and was to be cremated at Cumberland Family Services in Algood. There was a gathering of family and friends at the Maple Street home of Mrs. Bingham at 3 p.m. Saturday afternoon November 28th for a Celebration of her Life with the family delivering the eulogies. Born Elizabeth Sue Herbstreet in Cincinnati in Hamilton County, Ohio on June 18, 1941, she was one of three children and the daughter of the late Herbert Herbstreet and Elizabeth Rohrer Herbstreet. Her husband of over fifty eight years, James Dallen (Jim) Bingham, preceded her in death at the age of 80 on December 11, 2019. They were united in marriage in Cincinnati on June 30, 1961. Mrs. Bingham was of the United Methodist faith. Surviving are her four children, Toni Pippin of Gordonsville, Deanna Gannon and husband Frank of Biloxi, Mississippi, David Bingham of Gordonsville, Sandi Crosby of Aurora, Indiana; sister, Bev Simpson and husband Don of Aurora, Indiana,; brother, Robert “Pork Chop” Herbstreet of Chestnut Mound; three grandchildren, Frank Gannon Jr., Rickie Pippin and David Gannon Sr.; four great-grandchildren.
