Nellie Schrimsher

Nellie Eugene (Stewart) Schrimsher, age 94 of Loudon County, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020. Born to the late Luther N. and Vaul (Lovin) Stewart in High Point, NC. Nellie was a beautiful lady with an engaging smile. She and husband Bob, were charter members of New Life Family Worship Center in Loudon. Nellie enjoyed serving as a hostess in the food pantry ministry of the church. She retired following many years of service with Industrial Vendors, a part of the Viskase Corporation. Nellie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Mitchell Schrimsher and most recently her son, Donnie Schrimsher; brother, Ray Stewart. She is survived by her son, Dannie Schrimsher, Madisonville; daughter and son in-law, Angela and William Roth, Lenoir City; grandchildren and spouses, Jeff and Lisa Schrimsher, Kim Kizer, Aaron and Kristen Williams, Jessica and Tell Simpson and Sarah Williams; 8 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Betty McKenzie and Dean Kiser, several nieces and nephews. Contributions in Nellie’s memory may be made to the Food Pantry of New Life Worship Center, PO Box 292, Loudon, TN 37774. Services honoring and remembering Nellie Schrimsher will be held 2 PM, Saturday, Dec. 5th at the New Life Worship Center, 8735 Highway 72 N in Loudon with Rev. Jeff Schrimsher officiating. A private interment will be in Reed Springs Cemetery.
