<p>Gerald Dean Slusher, otherwise known as &ldquo;Bud.&rdquo;</p> <p>Born January 23, 1944 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. One of the middle children of eight siblings, he had four sisters and three brothers. As a child they moved around a lot but eventually ended up in Denver, Colorado.</p> <p>On October 19, 1963 he married the love of his life, Beverly Joyce Elliott and mother of his three children. William Earl Slusher, Melinda Michelle (Efren Espinoza) Slusher and Brenda Marie (Jeremy Conley)&nbsp;Slusher. He worked hard to support and provide for his family as a mechanic, (something that he loved to do), and later at Zimmerman Metals where he would retire.</p> <p>He loved hunting deer and taking his family on trips. He also loved being able to spoil his grandkids, Aron Elvis, Tish Nichole, Nate Ryan, Zachery Dean, Alec Christopher, Jojo Jr, Vivian Grace, and David Jr. As well as his great grandkids, Aron Jr, Zaiden, Eliaz, and Milo. He loved to have his family around him. There was nothing that he wouldn&rsquo;t do for each one of them.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by five of his siblings, his wife Bev, son William and grandson Aron.</p>

Gerald Dean Slusher, otherwise known as “Bud.”

Born January 23, 1944 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. One of the middle children of eight siblings, he had four sisters and three brothers. As a child they moved around a lot but eventually ended up in Denver, Colorado.
