Gary Thomas Epps Accomac, Virginia Obituary

Gary Thomas Epps

Gary Thomas Domintha Epps, Sr., beloved son of Litton and Sally Epps, was born March 2, 1963 in Modest Town, Virginia. He gained his wings on November 23, 2020 at Sentara Hospital in Hampton, Virginia. Gary, affectionately known as “Pudgy,” came into this world fighting and left this world the same way. Although he was born with a slight disability, he never let it define who he was or what he could accomplish. He graduated and gained his diploma, got married, and lived independently on his own. Pudgy loved photography, long walks, the Dallas Cowboys, his family, music, and macaroni & cheese. He devoted his life to Christ & Community Outreach. Pudgy was known by many and loved by even more. One of his purest characteristics was his transparency. He always spoke his mind and in the words of his son had a “Big, Strong Heart”. He was an active member at Branches of the Vine Community Church. His energy & love of All Things will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Bailey Shrieves and uncles, Melvin and Jerome Shrieves. He leaves to cherish his fond memories his beloved son, Gary T. D. Epps, Jr.; parents, Litton and Sally Epps; sister, Carla Epps; three nieces, Erica Epps, Ashley Smithson, and Nataliya Ritch; uncle, Cleophas Shrieves; aunts, Sheila Conner and Pauline Williams; and a host of relatives and friends. His presence truly will be missed!
