June Violet “June Bug” June 30, 1941 – November 25, 2020 Beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother & Aunt. Mother to Donna, Joseph, Frank and Janeen. Mother by marriage to George Samira and Dawn, sister to Patricia and Marion(Robert) Grandmother to Laura, Brian, Holly, Lisa, Danielle, Shannon & Brittany June was predeceased by her grandson, Christopher. Great-Grandmother to many…. Spritiual~Brave~Avid Learner; Always a believer in a higher education, June went on to receive her BA from Dowling College LI NY in 1983 after raising four children as well as her young sister-in-law, Lena. While at Downing College, June wrote many articles for the school newspaper. After moving to Florida in 1984, she began teaching as an instructor for Pasco County Schools. June was also a social worker in nursing homes for many years. June was also very spiritual, going to seminary school and becoming a Reverend. June was passionate about animals and loved all of God’s creatures especially horses, dogs, cats, butterflies and dolphins. She was a vegetarian and very spiritual, practicing Reiki, Yoga and she loved swimming. June loved bright vibrant colors, especially purple. June’s biggest passion was photography. She grew her love of photography into a business photographing weddings, collectible cars and family portraits as well as pet photos. She really loved photographing flowers and butterflies. June loved Crews Lake and the Botanical Gardens in Spring Hill. She spent much of her time photographing the beauty at both places. June brought many of her loved ones to both places as it brought such joy to her to be able to share her special places with those she loved. June incorporated her love of photography into her love of scrapbooking, making many beautiful scrapbooks of family and pets. June also belonged to a book club and went to card making classes as she loved….loved….loved making beautiful custom cards for her loved ones for every occasion. Her artistic eye will be missed but will live on in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as everyone that knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held March 13, 2021 at the Nature Coast Botanical Gardens in Spring Hill, Florida. If you would like to attend, YOU MUST RSVP - SPACE IS VERY LIMITED!! Due to Covid 19.
