Patricia Dee Lopez, 58, of N. 5th Street, Carlsbad, NM, passed away November 14, 2020 at Carlsbad Medical Center.  Cremation has taken place and private services will take place at a later date.

Patricia was born March 5, 1962 in Hobbs, NM to Geronimo and Delores (Mendez) Lopez. Church was very dear to Patricia’s heart during her life. She was a long-time member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court San Jose #2252. Patricia was also involved with the Caring Hands at San Jose. She cherished her family and treasured her grandchildren. Patricia enjoyed crocheting and spending time with family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Mary Vasquez and Nelly Lovas and brother, Ray Lopez.

Survivors are her sons: Steven Cumpian and Adrian Cumpian; daughter, Crystal Ruiz; grandchildren: Deeangelo Rodriguez, Dominic Dumars, Isabella Cumpian and Deyanna Dumars; brothers: Charlie Lopez and Sonny Lopez; sisters: Anita Maldonado and husband, Raymond, Rita Chavez and Becky Salazar; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
