Steven Everett McElroy, 43, of Taneytown, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at his home. Born on January 29, 1977 in Towson, he was the son of Linda and Jeff Shaffer, and Lesly and Lynn McElroy. He is also survived by his wife Michelle Lynn McElroy; and seven children Summer, Autumn, Lily, Haleigh, Rachel, Dalton, and Dakota. He was predeceased by two children, Aurora and baby girl.

He worked for Mercer Carpet One and East Coast Flooring. He loved his children without fail. He worked hard helping his father take care of our home. He loved fishing, crabbing, and camping.
