Shirley Nason, 77, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Madigan Estates after a long illness. She was born June 17, 1943, in Houlton, the daughter of Willis and Doris (Taylor) Nason. Shirley graduated from Zion Bible College in Rhode Island. She was employed at Houlton Regional Hospital for many years until her failing health forced her to retire. She was a longtime member of the Houlton Church of God.. She loved her family very much and made sure she told them often. Shirley had a very forgiving heart and loved everyone. She is survived by three sisters: Donna McAfee of Hodgdon, Ruth Ercolani, Janice Hastey and her husband Larry of Houlton, two brothers: David Nason and his wife Connie of Cary and Gerry Nason and his wife Rachel of New Limerick and Florida. She also leaves behind three sisters-in-law: Velma Nason of Houlton, Diane Nason of Linneus, Sharon Nason of Connecticut, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by four brothers: Philip, Robert, Richard, and Leigh. The family would like to thank Dr. Sussman and Dr. Abouleish for their many years caring for her, also many thanks to everyone at Madigan House for their kindness and care. Due to COVID Restrictions a service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
