<p> </p> <p>Ruth (Ruthie) Tempel age 95, passed away on November 23, 2020 in Kalispell.</p> <p> </p> <p>Ruth Is survived by her husband of 54 years, Keith M. Tempel of Kalispell. Ruth was born in Austria and immigrated to Switzerland and, consequently, immigrated to the USA in1948.</p> <p>Ruth and her husband were married in 1966 in Missoula where they were both employed. In 1967, they moved to Great Falls where her husband was employed by a Defense Contractor.</p> <p>In 1969, Ruth & Keith moved to Glasgow AFB where they resided until 1972.</p> <p>In 1972, they moved to the Middle East and spent four years in Iran. From there, they moved to California where they spent nearly 9 years with a Defense Contractor.</p> <p>They spent nearly 16 years in the Middle East, including Iran, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. After the Middle East, they moved to Fort Lewis, WA. And spent the next four years and then retired in Kalispell, MT.</p> <p>Ruth had suffered with Alzheimer’s for the past ten years of her life and finally, died of natural causes.</p> <p> </p> <p>There will not be services for Ruth. However, there will be a “Celebration of Life” at the Elks Club, this coming Spring. Friends are encouraged to visit our website at www.buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences for the family.
