Louis R. Belz, 84, Richland Twp., died November 25, 2020 at Windber Woods. Born October 7, 1936 in Johnstown, son of Louis and Estelle (Ashcom) Belz. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Joann (Williams); brother, Terry; and sister, Billie Russell (Bill). Survived by children, Brian S. (Maryellen Zibura); and Suzann (Aaron Antonishek); grandchildren, Brandon Antonishek, Justine Brown (Ricky), Nicole Belz (Ron Renwick), Jacob Belz (Megan), Gabrielle Belz, and Luke Belz; great grandchildren, Easton and Isla Renwick; siblings, Karl (Jo), Corrine Schmidt (Paul), Sara Penrod (Harry), Janice Legg (Owen), and Judy Price (Ernie). He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Louis was an avid sports fan and loved his family dearly. He was retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., and was a US Coast Guard veteran. Friends received Sunday 2-5PM at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where funeral service will be held 10AM Monday with Pastor Toby Holland officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to East Hills Ambulance Association or the Richland Fire Department.
