The lighthouse has gone dark, our captain has fallen, our ships now lost. Death came to the door and took a great man. Richard L. Ball, 77, former City of Plattsburgh Firefighter, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 22, 2020. Son David Ball and Jennifer Faber held steadfast to his side. A true friend to all and a hero to many. We shall do the utmost best to honor his name because he was our everything. Go find Janet, go find Rick, go find the ones we lost along the way and set sail on those forever seas, just be sure to save some room for those you left behind.
