MARILYN JOANNE (MERRILL) KELLEY Boonville, Indiana – Marilyn Joanne (Merrill) Kelley left this world on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 and is rejoicing in the arms of her beloved husband, John, in heaven. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Theodora Merrill; her husband of 71 years, John Kelley; her brothers, Bobby Dan and Paul Merrill; a grandson, Isaac Paul Horswood; a great grandson, William Gold; and a sister-in-law, Nina Merrill. Surviving are her children, Roberta (Dr. Lee) Gold, Johnnie (Jim) Sowels, Connie Horswood, Bob (Sonya) Kelley, Sara (Tom) Woods, and John (Candy) Jeffries; her grandchildren, Dr. Scott Gold (Dr. Kara Gold), Dr. Mandy (Ryan) Schwartz, Kelley (Jeff) Adams, Liz (Adam) Williams, Dusty Witter, Kyle Kelley, Marilyn, Samantha, and Thomas Woods, Lauren and Alek Jeffries; great grandchildren Macy, Jenna, and Gwen Schwartz, Rod and Lena Williams, and Dawson and Dessa Witter; sister-in-law Kathy Merrill. As per Marilyn’s wishes, there will be no services. Her wish was to be remembered as you knew her. In lieu of flowers, please make any memorial contributions to St. John’s United Church of Christ in Boonville, Indiana. Marilyn’s most treasured gift was being a part of the lives of all the children she cared for and loved.
