<p>John D. Miles, 57, of North Vernon, passed away at 8:40 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020, at the home of his sister.</p> <p>A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, 2020, at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service. Rev. Dale Boyd will officiate. Burial will be in the Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday, November 27, 2020, at the funeral home.</p> <p>Born on August 5, 1963, in Seymour, John was the loving son of John Henry Miles and Barbara (Kelley) Wilson.</p> <p>John loved going mushroom and ginseng hunting and fishing. He enjoyed playing pool and having a good time. John was laid back and liked to party.</p> <p>He is survived by sisters, Terrie McCammon and Tammy Wilhoit both of North Vernon; several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>John is preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Miles and Barbara Wilson; stepfather, Jason Wilson.</p> <p>Memorials can be made through the funeral home to the Donor’s Choice.</p>Obituary
