Donald Verly Holley, 81, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away November 24, 2020, after a long but courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born in Blountstown, Florida, on February 13, 1939, to the late Verl and Jeneva Holley. Don proudly served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1962. He was a dedicated employee to Delta Airlines for 30 years. Don was a jack of all trades and spent a lifetime helping friends and family. He found great joy in doing things for his family, and this gift of service is his legacy that will live on for generations to come. He will be missed beyond words. Don is survived by his wife, Sandra Holley; two daughters, Debbie Sipper of North Carolina and Kim Raines of Concord, Georgia; son Donny Holley Jr. of Sharpsburg, Georgia; grandchildren JT, Joe, Stephen, Rebecca, Kalli, Eve, and Sloane; great grandchildren, June, William, Johnny, Hutch, and Woods; siblings Truman, Norman, Debbie Joe, and Janice; and nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville, Georgia, on Friday, November 27, 2020, at 2:00 PM. with Pastor Allan Thames officiating.
