South Pasadena, FL - Sylvia “GG” (Bellerose) Morkis passed away November 24, 2020, at a long-time family home on Webster Lake with family at her side. Sylvia was born in Putnam, Ct, the daughter of Thomas and Sylvia Bellerose.

She worked for SNET until retirement, enjoyed a move to South Pasadena, Florida, and began a new adventure as a receptionist for The Commodore Beach Club. Sylvia enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and especially her great grandchildren. She loved watching the dolphins and manatees, as well as the men across the waterway from her Florida room windows.

Sylvia is survived by her daughters Susan Parker, Christine Williams and husband Raymond Williams, granddaughters Jessica Bolte, Elizabeth Williams, Riley Brousseau, grandson John Stevens, and 6 great grandchildren. Sylvia is predeceased by sons Steven and Michael Morkis. She is also survived by her sister, Shirley Becker, brother in law, William O’Brien and sister in law, Arlene Ciesluk. Sylvia is also pre-deceased by six brothers and sisters, Thomas Bellerose, Jr., John Paul Bellerose, Marie Sheehan, William Bellerose, Robert Bellerose and Elizabeth O’Brien.

Private funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street Webster, MA.
