Michael S. Rodgers

Michael S. Rodgers, age 70, of Hot Springs, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020. He was born on December 22, 1949, in Hot Springs, the son of Ralph Cody Rodgers and Naomi Abshire Rodgers. On May 15, 1971, he married Martha Hawthorn who preceded in death on February 26, 2020. He was also preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Butch Rodgers, Larry Rodgers and Joe Rodgers. Michael was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Karmen and Darrell Tigue of Hot Springs; two grandsons, Brandon Tigue of Bryant and Cody Tigue of Hot Springs; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 30, 2020, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 100 persons at any one time in the funeral home chapel, avoidance of physical contact and all attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering at all times when inside the funeral home.
