Tracy Carol Miller Obituary

Tracy Carol Miller, 56, of North Charleston, SC passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020. Her final days were spent at home surrounded by her family. Tracy was born on July 24, 1964 in Charleston, SC. She is the firstborn daughter of Larry T. Miller and Carol Ann Blair and the big sister of Lorrie Miller Ferguson (Pete Ferguson). She graduated from North Charleston High School in 1982 and spent the last 10 years working for the City of North Charleston. Tracy’s greatest joy and most beautiful legacy in life are her children and grandchildren. Blair Still (Matt Still), Erica Kaufman, Hunter Wauhop (Brian Welch), and Tonya Hamel (Mike Hamel) are blessed to have been loved by a strong, devoted, sacrificial mother. Her grandchildren, Penelope Still, Piper Still, and Miller Still have been privileged to spend their lives influenced by Tracy’s great love for family, for life, and for the beach. They will miss their special adventures with Gigi! Tracy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leroy Thomas and Dorothy Thackeray Miller and William Roscoe and Willa Mae Blair. She is loved and will be missed by her aunt, Wanda Hiers and her uncles, Carlton Blair (Kathy Blair) and Robert Miller, and her cousins. Tracy’s genuine care and love for the people around her has also been reflected by all the friends who have encouraged and loved her and her family through this long battle. Friends and family are invited to remember and celebrate her life on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 4:00pm at Oakley Road Ministries, 109 Oakley Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Flowers are welcome to be delivered to Oakley Road Ministries (from 12:00pm - 3:00pm) on Saturday or friends and family can give to Armor Healing Kitchen, 3121 Plowground Rd., John's Island, S.C., or https://www.amorhealingkitchen.org/gifting-to-a-loved-one.html. This ministry supported Tracy during her illness by providing healthy meals at no cost. Her hope was to volunteer with them in their kitchen one day to support other cancer patients. Thank you for all who love and support Tracy and her family.
