Lura Frances Bosteder, 93, of Ada, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 in Ada.

Lura was born September 18th, 1927 in Ada, Oklahoma to Robert E. and Edna Irene (Moss) Tilley. She grew up in Walnut Grove, and attended and graduated from Vanoss Public Schools in 1945.

Upon graduation, Lura moved to California, where she worked and married her husband of 43 years, Arthur W. Bosteder. They were wed in 1948, and were married until his passing in 1991. Lura spent her working life as an assembly line worker for Rhor Industries, an airplane manufacturing company, in Riverside, California.

Lura was a very meticulous person, paying great attention to detail, and it showed in both her work and her hobbies. When she wasn't working, Lura enjoyed dancing, playing dominos, and spending time with her family. Lura was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church.

Lura is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bosteder, parents, Robert and Irene Tilley, brothers Karl Tilley and Olen Tilley, and sisters Lavona Jones, Lela Richardson, and Winnie Bailes.

She is survived by her daughter, Pamela and husband Alan Bashaw, grandchildren Julie and husband Jack Roberts, and Jason and wife Janice Bashaw, great-grandchildren Jack, Jory, Jesse, Jane, Laura, Amy, Wyatt, sisters Lona Crockett, Carlene McNutt, and Kay Slegers, and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 at the Estes-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel in Ada, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Masks will be required for attendees of the funeral service and interment.
