John Tsokatos, born Chicago, IL, age 89.  Retired Deputy District Chief, Chicago Fire Department, served in the United States Army, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2020.  Beloved husband to the late Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Welch); loving father to John, Jr., Gary (Joyce), Donna, deceased, Drew, Judy (George) Goodman, and Janet  (Jim Bonebrake). Proud grandfather to Jay (Abby), Laurie (Daryl), Drew, Jr., Kaitlin and Gary, Tyler, deceased, Annie and Donna; great-grandfather to Callie, Alllison and Haley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church (81st Street and California, Chicago).  He will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery
