Sally Mackell Ott, 66, of Fairfax, VA, died peacefully at home on Monday, November 23, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Ken, and children, Christopher, Katie, Kenny, Alex and Peter, and four grandchildren. Born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of Dr. James and Rosemary Mackell, she is also survived by brother Tom, and sisters Rory O’Mara, Margie Vanarsdall and Jane Hoy. She was predeceased by brother Jim and sister Susan Goldner. She was a graduate of Georgetown University and a Registered Nurse. She also was an American Red Cross volunteer and until recently had worked at Lord & Taylor. Due to Covid restrictions, a private visitation is scheduled for family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 10:30 am at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Road, Vienna, VA. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Red Cross.
