Adair Edward Harmon

Adair Edward Harmon, affectionately known as “Eddie”, departed this life on November 19, 2020 at the age of 68. Whether you knew him as “Little Hogg,” “The Car Doctor,” or “Fast Eddie,” all that knew him well could surely say that with a spin of record, a twist of his wrench, or a flash of his million-dollar smile, “Eddie” has at some point made you smile, dance, or feel good vibes. He was born on October 2, 1952, the eldest child born to the late Adair “Boss Hog” and Vivian Delores Harmon. While a native of Accomack County, VA – the place he called “home,” he was raised in Trenton, New Jersey. “Eddie” was educated in the Trenton Public School System and worked alongside his father, where he developed the skills that attributed to his lifelong commitment to the trucking industry. “Eddie” worked as a CDL driver for over thirty years for various companies including Perdue Farms, Waste Management (EFI), and Harmon Transfer Corporation. He was a jack of many trades; lending his talents as a DJ, racecar driver, and mechanic. “Eddie” was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Adair “Boss Hog” and Vivian Delores Harmon and his sister, Paulette “Niecey” Collins. “Eddie” leaves a legacy of hard work and infectious charisma to his children, Tasha Bryant (47) of Washington, DC, Patrick O’Brian Thomas (40) of Mappville, VA, and Eddie Johnson (35) and his wife, Crystal of Salisbury, MD. He also leaves to cherish his memory, five grandsons, Jared (30) and his wife Lashonda, Jamal (24), Dominic (20), Desean (19), and Patrick, Jr. (12); three great-grandsons, Raheem (3), Emmanuel (1), and Dominic, Jr. (9 months). He leaves his siblings to cherish his memory: Nathaniel, Kenneth, Dwight, John, Sr., Arlene, Alejondro, Lorenza, Angie, and Iisha; stepmother, Mae Harmon; in addition to a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
